A web portal is designed to automate your customer helpdesk services. Made with a fully customizable html template, it provides a web-based interface to your customers to file return merchandise requests online. Upon entering the request details, the web portal generates a unique number for the return request and sends notification email to your service group.
InFOREMAX Web Portal validates product warranty and generates return shipping label. By automating the process of mechanize return there are significant savings in both time and manpower resources.
The Web Portal also allows users to register their products, view the status of their return requests, add comments, and update their profile online. Deployment Scenario
1) In-House Deployment - Web Portal is hosted in-house, integrated with InFOREMAX RMA Software.
In this scenario, the Web server and the application database server (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server) are located in your IT's data center. InFOREMA Web Portal uses connection string to connect to the application database. The connection string contains the computer name or IP address of the database server.
Once the Web Portal is integrated into InFORMAX RMA software, whenever your customers update their profile or submit a RMA request, the RMA software will instantly give you access to the latest customer information and RMA requests. Mostly importantly, it also enables your customers instantly find out the status of their return on web.

2) 3rd Party Hosting - Web Portal is hosted on a third-party webserver. In this scenario, InFOREMAX Web Portal is hosted on your designated third-party hosting webserver, serving as a web-based standalone application. When your customers submit a RMA request with the Web Portal an email notification will be generated automatically and sent to your designated email addresses.
In order to make the web portal work with InFOREMAX RMA software effectively, your technical support staff will then enter the data about customer returns into the RMA software and update its status online as soon as the repair is complete.
3) InFOREMAX Web Portal Hosting - Web Portal is hosted on our server. In this scenario, your web portal is hosted on our webserver, serving as a SaaS-based web application. Once it's set up, you can access it using: http://www.inforemax.com/webportal/COMPANYNAME where "COMPANYNAME" is your comapny name.
In order to link your website to our hosted web portal, you are required to place a link to the web portal onto your website.
